Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions our customers ask most — pricing, styles, delivery, assembly and everything in between.
Pricing & Quotes
How much do BluePrint Cabinets cost?
Every kitchen is different, so pricing depends on size, layout and how many cabinets you need. Most kitchens land between $5,000 and $25,000, or roughly $350–$700 per linear foot. Send us your layout and we’ll give you an accurate quote — design and quoting are free.
Do you charge for design or quotes?
No. Your 3D design and quote are free, with no deposit required. We’ll work through the layout with you first so you know exactly what you’re getting before you order.
Is delivery included in the price?
Freight is usually quoted separately from your cabinets, and the cost depends on where you live and the size of the order. We’ll confirm the delivery cost with your quote so there are no surprises.
Finishes, Colours & Door Styles
Do you have the style I’m looking for?
Yes. We offer a range of cabinet colours, finishes and door styles to suit different kitchens and homes. Browse the styles online, or come see and touch them in our Fredericton showroom.
Do the different door styles cost more?
No — all of our door styles are priced the same, so you can choose the look you love without changing your budget. We don’t currently offer unfinished, flat-panel or inset doors.
Beyond the Kitchen
Do you make more than kitchen cabinets?
Yes. BluePrint Cabinets can be used throughout your home — bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, pantries, islands and other storage spaces. If you have a cabinetry project beyond the kitchen, tell our team what you’re planning and we’ll help you lay it out.
Locations & Showrooms
Where can I see BluePrint Cabinets?
Our showroom is at 103 Route 105 (River Road), Fredericton, NB, open Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm. We also have a team serving Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe — call 506-889-7542 to connect with them.
Do you deliver to my area?
We serve customers throughout New Brunswick and across Atlantic Canada. Our Fredericton and Moncton teams can help with your project, and we’ll confirm the best delivery option based on where you live.
Countertops & Other Trades
Can BluePrint Cabinets do my countertops too?
Our specialty is cabinetry and kitchen design — we don’t manufacture or install countertops. We do provide the cabinet layout and measurements your countertop supplier needs, and our customers get 10% off through our partner Prime Stone & Tile. You’re also free to use any contractor you like.
Do you install the cabinets?
We’re a supply-only cabinet company, so we don’t install. We keep a list of local installers and contractors our customers have used, and we’re happy to point you toward one.
Installation & Assembly
Do I have to assemble and install the cabinets myself?
BluePrint Cabinets are ready-to-assemble (RTA), so they do need to be put together before installation. You can assemble them yourself, hire a contractor, or use one of the installers on our referral list. We provide both video and PDF assembly instructions to make it straightforward.
What tools do I need to assemble them?
Basic hand tools are enough for most people — a drill, square, rubber mallet and a clean flat workspace. We’ve listed the tools and accessories we actually recommend, plus the tips that save the most time.
Ordering & Payment
How does ordering BluePrint Cabinets work?
It’s simple: plan your kitchen, choose your cabinets and style, review your quote, confirm your order, and we’ll get your cabinets moving. We’ll work through the details with you before you order, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
What happens after I place my order?
You’ll get your delivery timeline, then a heads-up before your cabinets arrive. Inspect everything on delivery day and note any damage on the paperwork — missing or damaged items need to be reported within 5 days.
Product Quality & Manufacturing
Where are BluePrint Cabinets made?
Our cabinets are manufactured in China and shipped ready-to-assemble. But where a cabinet is made doesn’t tell you whether it’s a good cabinet — materials, construction and quality control matter far more. Ours use 5/8" AA-grade plywood boxes, solid wood face frames, dovetail drawers and full-extension soft-close hardware, with CARB II-compliant and FSC-certified materials. We also had our finishes independently tested: lead came back under 30 mg/kg (Canada’s limit is 90 mg/kg) and mercury was below the lab’s minimum readout.
Are they covered by a warranty?
Yes. Hardware — hinges and drawer glides — carries a lifetime warranty, and the cabinets themselves are covered for one year. If something isn’t right, talk to us and we’ll sort it out.
Lead Times
How long does it take to get my cabinets?
Most standard projects take approximately 2–4 weeks from order to delivery. Your exact timeline can vary with your project and current production and shipping schedules — we’ll confirm your expected timeline before you order.
Doors & Replacement Parts
Can I buy just cabinet doors or replacement parts?
Not at this time. BluePrint Cabinets focuses on complete cabinetry rather than selling individual doors or offering refacing. If you’re after doors only, take a look at Future Doors.
Contractor Program
Do you offer contractor or trade pricing?
Yes. We work with contractors, builders, designers and other trade professionals through a dedicated contractor program with pricing up to 20% off. If you’re buying cabinets regularly or have projects coming up, we’ll show you how it works.
Referral Program
Can I refer someone to BluePrint Cabinets?
Yes! If you know someone planning a kitchen, bathroom, renovation or new build, you can refer them and qualify for a referral reward. It only takes a minute to send their name over.
