A few quick tips from Patrick before you start unloading, assembling and installing.
Congratulations — the big day is here
Hey! Patrick here with BluePrint Cabinets. First off, thank you for choosing BluePrint Cabinets. Hopefully the delivery went off without a hitch and nothing was damaged. If anything did get damaged, please get that over to us as soon as possible so we can fulfill the replacements.
A few tips when unloading
As you’re unloading your order, remember that some pieces — especially panels and fillers — can be oversized. Keep an eye out for those so they don’t accidentally get overlooked or thrown away with the packaging.
Before reporting something missing or damaged
We recommend going through your entire order before reporting a missing piece. We can only provide one free replacement shipment, so we want to identify everything you may need at the same time.
Also, don’t panic if the label on a box doesn’t seem to match your order. Occasionally a box may be mislabeled or substituted with a different box. The correct cabinet or part may still be inside even though the code printed on the outside doesn’t match. Open it up and confirm what’s actually inside before assuming something is missing.
Before you start building
Take a few minutes to carefully review your cabinet design and layout before you begin assembling or installing anything. Knowing where everything goes ahead of time will make the entire process much easier.
Don't forget about your end panels
Check which cabinets will be at the end of the cabinet runs in your kitchen — both wall and base cabinets. These finished panels need to be installed during the cabinet assembly process. If you assemble the cabinet without the required panel, you’ll have to order a skin panel to finish the end of that run.
So before you start building, make sure you know where your panels are and where they’re supposed to go — it saves some massive headaches in the build.
